Goin Crude-- back to oils and sculpture

Hey guys-- I'm moving into a new apartment this week that has some space, so I'd like to get back into oil painting and sculpture. I have most of the supplies, but I still need to get an easel as well as some kind of sculpture stand. Any recommendations? I'm not looking for anything fancy, rather the 'simple and durable' sort. Also, as for the stand I'll mainly be using it for life-size busts, so it doesn't have to be huge.

with easels I tend to recommend people get the largest one they can afford..

Get a block of wood as a base. Jam a pipe through it. Create a foil ball or some sort of ball on the top of the pipe. Sculpt your bust.

practical advice, thank you gents. I have shopped around for easels, I was just looking to see if anyone had any specific recommendations or caveats. As for a sculpture stand, I definitely will go the diy route considering that even the cheapest stands are ridiculously expensive.
