Modo selections style in 3ds max.
Assign a hotkey(or button), select 2 verts/edges/faces woth desired gap between them and start pressing your hotkey.

that is cool. I believe you can do this with the new pentools but I have no idea how to hotkey those tools.

PolyHertz , after the weekend I wil try to make Loop for verts and polygons. Then I will try to add EditPopy support.

airbrush, I have 32bi WinXP, and Max2009, so I can't test the script in 64bit OS and MAX.
