where's all the quake2 models?

Does polycount still maintain a database of quake2 models? Where are they?

I had converted all the Quake 2 model pages from the original site to HTML and put them online on the previous Polycount site.

They're currently all archived, and didn't make the conversion to the new software. They could go back up as-is, perhaps...

I assume the same goes for all the other models? (Half-life, quake3, ut, etc.)

No, no substantial portion of the other model types ever got converted from the original site. (If you know the name of the model you can still search for it and download it from Fileplanet, of course.)

They're all archived, but no-one's stepped up to do the conversion. A lot of it has to be done by hand, and there are a lot of models.

I'd love to see what the archive looks like, and perhaps put something together.
