OLD While i had some Spytech© ideas for a few months, i don't think i can justify a whole 3 items for one good idea.

Instead i will make either:

1: Neo-Dada Pyro
or
2: Soviet Nonconformist Heavy

I think those fit.

Don't think i'll have anything posted for awhile.. prefer pen sketching ideas.

here's weapon descriptions. apparently my modeling is rusty.. hat's started tho

Hat! - Aviator's Cap; decorated with mics, cameras, and mirrors

Primary.Weapon! - Flamethrower; flame comes out trombone bell. Pipes/instruments adorn the flamethrower. Ancillary instruments make noise when firing; primarily frenchhorn.

Melee! - Burnt, then Wet, Newspaper; dowses fire; stunball effect(?) second thought stun would be shenanigans in melee.. whatever

Abilities don't really matter

the hat looks nice so far, i don't understand why the pyro would want a weapon that puts fires out though. or how the three fit together in anyway whatsoever

The silhouette on the hat on the left is nice and distinct. I think you could exaggerate the straps or goggles on the one on the left to push the form (maybe make the strap dangling on one side, undone?). Cool stuff so far.

i do not think it will be teamcoloured; was thinking something like this on the cap

the targety bit, not the top bit.

also think i scrapped the camera hat idea.. a rear-view mirror might work tho

A rear view mirror hat would be funny! Someone is submitting a Soldier aviation theme including hat, so keep that in mind too.

I know it's not really in your power to affect this... but if the trombone flamethrower's taunt was the Pyro playing the fail trombone on his flamethrower, that would be so amazing I would cry.

Keep up your work on it. Right now I can't get much, your model seems fine early stages but fine, smooth it out a bit, jiggle-bone the flaps and slap on a texture and you should be good with it.

can animate (i use cinema4d) i shall figure out custom taunt animation somehow! *thumbsup*

don't know how to add jigglebones. will find.

Also! beginnings of instrument.. fueled by my 3am internet outage..

I'm absolutely loving the trombone flamethrower... The aviator hat looks great, but there's already someone doing a very similar idea with Soldier. I think you should go with a Pyro-Music theme, it has a lot of potential!

Imagine it, the man who cannot communicate through words, forced to do so through music... and fire. :-)

Hey, why not make a guitar as an axe replacement? That way, when Pyro does his axe taunt, he'll actually be playing something.

Oh man, I love this idea. Imagine if the hat was a harmonica holder, placing the harmonica right in front of the mouthpiece of his gas mask?

Actually, I've already made a Marching band hat for the medic... I thought it made sense, because whenever there's a medic around, it becomes a miniature parade.

gotta say.. learning how to import this jank is confusing for the first time. figured out everything except why my viewmodel is off the left side of the screen tho. shoots left of player. so odd. no hands

Looking nice. I think the flame that ignites the fire though is a particle effect so you don't need to model it out. I'm not positive though. You should decompile the stock flamethrower and check.
