Read/Unread threads acting odd for anyone else?

I'm just going to put this out there since it's been bugging me since the new site arrived.
Sometimes an entire page of threads will be marked green (I am assuming this means I haven't read the threads), other times they'll be marked gray (and I'm assuming this means they're threads I've read). This seems to be completely random. Just now every thread on the first page of "General Discussion" was marked unread, but I refreshed the page and they got marked read.
I'm using Opera 10.52.
Anyone else with similar problems?

never know, i've had problems with different browsers recognizing code before.
