Has anyone ever been to one?
I just got back from the TEDx UniPittsburgh Conference at Carnegie Mellon's Entertainment Technology Center. It was an overall great experience. There were some great speakers, including Daniel Szecket and Jesse Schell. Jesse Schell's speech on the future of education was awesome, I always enjoy his talks.
They also showed Jane McGonigal's "Gaming Can Make A Better World" video, which I know was posted in a thread here not long ago.
If there is ever a TED event near you, I highly recommend attending.
