I usually figure these things out on my own, but I have given up!
I used to play this simple game (maybe 3 to 4 years ago), it was similar to Asteroids but had a similar style to Geometry Wars. You shot little colored balls (HA) and you can start with a completely black or completely white screen. Once you shot enough balls, it turns that part of the screen either black or white (opposite of whatever color you started with). The whole object of the game was to turn the screen completely 1 color.
The only other thing I can remember is it had some awesome techno music too....
