So, the demo is up on live, thoughts guys?
I've been playing it and I have to say, presentation wise, this is tripple A stuff. Even the UI got me, a freeze frame shootout, massive carnage, with the camera moving around depending on option? LOVE IT.
But ingame its just pure class. Giving me an entire bathroom to pretty much destroy a guys face with while I find out the info I need shows that this really is unlike past SC games. The control is fluid, everything works great and even though I WANT to play the game like a sneaky bitch, its so much fun taking people out I can't resist. Maybe if theres some award for doing it both ways later.
The only cons so far, as far as I can see, is that it really is tearing badly. Ingame playing isn't too bad but when you watch ingame cinematics, its awful. Its worse still when you watch prerendered video, such as the two guys talking as Third Echelon about killing Sam, it was a combination of poor tearing plus REALLY jumpy movies, I'm talking serious jumping. Hope its just a demo thing.
Other than that, this is pretty much a day one purchase for me. I hate UbiSoft with a passion for the DRM crap (Not as much as Activision) but this is indeed a day one purchase for me.
