Source DVD's?

Right at the bottom there; are these really old or really new? I've never heard of them, only came across them by accident. Anyone know if they are any good? Seem kinda pricey.

They're from a few years ago and they're fairly useless. If you're a complete beginner then you'll get something out of them but you can find everything you'll need to know about Source at the Valve Developer Community Wiki or by asking around at Interlopers for free.

If you're looking for Source level design tutorials, yeah the internet is much more up-to-date, thorough, and accurate. I think there are many YouTube videos around too.

If you're looking for Source model import / asset pipeline stuff, the wiki is a good resource too.

Either way -- yeah, the DVDs seem like a rip-off.

That's a pity. I'll check youtube then, thanks for the replies. I wish Eat3d would do a Source dvd
