tf2 was just updated with some of the community hats, was wondering if any of the hats that made it in were by polycounters?

I know that Elvis hair and glasses is from someone here on Polycount. I'll take a closer look at the other ones now and see if I recognize any of them.

I just saw they added weapons too... Is there a link that shows what these new hats and weapons are? The blog only shows the Elvis hat but not much else.

I mean it's obviously the same asset, makes sense they'd make it an Equalizer replacement I guess.

Nice work guys, I never pushed myself to make something.

I knew the Elvis wig was a win, I should have finished mine.

I just got my hat unlocked in game "The Self made Hound Dog" Description: I made this. In game its the hair but mine has sparkles that shoot off of it lol. :-D

awww man I wish that this was starting now instead of ending now...I was going through some personal life situations when this first came up that did not allow me to work on it...Are they still accepting submissions for a round 2 batch later on?

Also congrats on EVERYONE who got in! Proving yet again polycount win's in the 3D scene

I think they're gonna keep accepting. I'd consider creating something too now that I see there's a very real chance of getting in (if you make good artz).

Yes they still accept, as far as we know its not a comp and it will last for as long as tf2 is supported.

Did anyone else that got their model accepted get like 45 friend invites and 12 people asking you to make them a hat model? I've had like 6 crazy russian guys in broken english tell me they "have ideas" that will make it into the game if I make them a model. I lol'ed .. I had to keep typing... I just did this for fun! Leave me alone!

lol I haven't, but I guess it's because I never released my model, so a lot of people don't know I made it. Most of my other stuff is over on fpsbanana though.
