seriously though... that transition from the eyes to the nose and nose to the upper jaw is building up nicely... i love seeing that kind of stuff with skin and fat hinting at underlying muscle and bone... really sells it.

My thought after the first image was:

Looking cool though! I like the off kilter jaw, although its knobyness makes it a little hard to read. The second image gives me Carlos Huente vibes.

a) i thought the exact same thing - Abe.

b) that's looking really amazing man. what material is this exactly? doesn't seem like clay. Also, how exactly do you work? Do you add massive blocks / chunks and take away from it to add details, or do you add small pieces and smoothen and flatten etc. etc.

curious to see how this turns out

really cool stuff i dig the bugged out eyes with the little eye holes, like a chameleon. im with hazardous, the details between the eyes and mouth are awesome! great teeth too.
