Dose anyon have the link to that website, where you could do the 60 second drawings of people in different poses, it was basically a 3d modeling of a man or woman, which you could choose to pose, or have a random post selected for you, and you had 60 seconds to draw it then another one came up, i used ot have it, but i reformatted and now i cant remember what it is, lol.

Also if anyone has other drawing resources that will help me improve, both my figure drawing, and painting, lighting etc etc, please please let me know

like Dado, I'd suggest not learning to draw from poser figures with muscles painted on top of them... you'll be learning anatomy from something that isn't anatomically correct. best thing would be to find a cheap open life drawing session in your area and go sit down and draw.

@Rube - we have a life drawing class as a part of my university course, i jsut wanted some more resources to help me improve, 3 hours a week isnt enough by itself, its not like i get loads of time to draw what with all the rest of the work i have to do.

I don't think posemaniacs was meant for anatomy, I think it was originally meant to be for capturing the essence of a pose, or the action, for animators, but I can see it being good for anatomy as well. - and I could be wrong - but that was my initial impression.

I tend to agree with Dado Almeida: I'm not sure why posemaniacs is so popular. Fairly flat 3d model floating in space with its insides on the outside? Not sure how helpful that can be.

That and quickly getting proportions down.

For quick gesture drawings I don't think it really matters if you use a photo or posemaniacs.

For a detailed drawings its pretty bad.
