And again....
Sony Computer Entertainment has revealed that it is in the process of restructuring its Liverpool studio following "project prioritisation" by the Worldwide Studios division.

Seems like about half the studio's been let go. :(

The first time I played Wipeout still ranks as one of my favorite gaming moments. Commiserations to all those affected.

    This is sad news - Sony Liverpool began life as Psygnosis and produced some of my favourite games of the 16bit and Playstation eras. Here's hoping that they're able to continue on and that everyone who was let go manages to find another job ASAP.

    I didn't know they were Psygnosis, they have made so many great games including the Discworld games, Lemmings and Destruction Derby. I hope the affected people land on their feet.

    don't forget that psygnosis also acted as a publisher. lemmings was made by DMA design i believe - they later started the GTA series. and wasn't destruction derby made by reflections (nowadays called ubisoft newcastle)?

    "project prioritisation" - smells like more PS3 motion controller stuff to me.
