Hey guys, here is a speed paint to start it off, i really need to start painting more. maybe having a thread that i can follow and get some feedback on will motivate me to do more paintings. cheers!

The anglefish monster could use some clarity in the details. I think its a bit too loose. Try overlaying some photo reference on the parts of skin that you want detailed.
Also, are those caustics on the monster or are they some sort of stripe design?
Anyway, I'm eagerly awaiting more posts.

my most recent concept paint. Even though i am getting faster I still spent about 10 hours on this painting, whereas for a painting like this I would like to only spend maybe two or three, five tops.
You have a great knack for colors and light in you work.

Spent a few hours on this concept today and thought I would post it. It didn't really turn out the way I had envisioned it, so I am not terribly satisfied with it but eh, its decent.
a few priest character concepts for tonight. about 4 hours spent on these guys. I think I am getting faster!
