You can tell your idea is there and nice. But it seems to me there's no hard reference going with this, and that kind of portrays through the model. Each piece by itself could hold it's own, but all joined together it kind of looks like an unsure idea. Don't get me wrong, you know what you're doing, I just think a bit of reference or study could do this model good.

good crit, it does seem a little mishmashed, and drawing it out first probably would've helped me... I guess i'll just see what happens, once i add some accessories that might help simplify some parts of it, fabric parts etc.

From what I can see, it looks like you have jumped too far into your sculpt without refining the initial silhouette. I'd definitely spend more time on the lower sub-div levels, working your way up to extensive detail.
