So, I'm up to it, I'm trying to get most of all my old models and fix them to make them look better and finalize it. As well I'm up to stop playing, watching movies, or whatever until I can have something looking good. I'll be posting some models here. If anyone has good comments about it and want me to improve, let me know.

As of the toning part, I dont want him to look too unreal, I wanted to make a bit of fat and gravity on the skin instead of looking amateur.
What he means by the small of the back is the spot between the butt and that muscle that is across the mid back (I'm no character artist so I'm horrible with anatomy).
the way the muscle falls of so sharply to a flat area makes everything around it seem extruded. and sorry about the slow reply.
Here are some updates, for now i wont do asymmetry until I create the re topology.
Calf was fixed, back small part on the top fixed too, shoulder back muscles fixed. A bit better silhouette on the legs and arms.

on Jones, maybe you could make his neck and humerus part of hand ~ shorter?

I'm of the opposite opinion of Bbob actually...I think the likeness needs work, while the gear looks quite good. (I can tell who its supposed to be...but it looks like it would be his brother or cousin or something. The likeness is just this side of perfect) The work on the cloth folds is particularly spectacular.
One thing you seem to have missed or omitted is the straps on the shoulders of his shirt seen here:

I'm kinda half agreeing with scoobydoofus and bblob a little. i guess maybe the face could be pushed more towards harrison ford and a couple of details could be touched up on the outfit, but he still reads and the sculpt does look great... textures always help too at the end of the day
And digging the he-man anatomy, that's going right in my insp folder ^^

That's how it's supposed to look. Notice the pinch in the front and the back, the hatband, the width of the brim.
The rest of the gear looks close enough, but I would really consider redoing the hat, because it really doesn't look anything like it.
Trust me when I say that I could continue naggin' about the details forever.
Collecting Indiana Jones gear is a big hobby of mine, cosplay and stuff, so you could say I have OCD when it comes to this :P
If you want it to be perfect, go to Indygear.com and check out everything, or ask the people on Club Obi-Wan (the Indygear discussion board) who are at least as obsessed as me.
For close enough, just redo the hat.

A question though..Is it possible to use the picture for a muscle reference? Only upon your permission?
