i heard he turned it down bcz after JCVD the movie he was looking into more "serious" roles in film... but obviously, seeing universal soldier, i dont think that was it. The expandables is like the all-time slizz action star hall-of-fame movie. if you're not in it... you're just not.

Also: I dig that the less than sensical action films are making a comeback and not trying to justify themselves as anything other than fight and explosion romps.
