  I've been listening to a contemporary group called Rachel's that you may like. It's not orchestral and not in the same league as, uh, classic classical... But if you're looking for something good in this region of music space, I highly recommend them. Beautiful instrumental music, my favorite album that I've heard from them is "Grimes: Music for Egon Shiele", but all their albums are wonderful.

  I dig punk with classical influences, and some of these artists are not "easy listening" but the last 3 minutes of this song is a nice acoustic guitar + piano, the first minute of the song is great too.
