Render Settings, mental ray.

Hi, I would like to render my object (in 3d max) with mental ray. But I have no idea what settings I should use. Could you help me?

Pretty easy render, with one or two lights, sharp textures, just look pretty good, no fireworks or sthg.

You mean with ambient occlusion, like a high quality clay render? That's pretty easy as you don't need lights. If you mean with materials using final gather and or global illumination it's a bit more complicated and depends on geometry, size of scene and other factors to get a 'correct' render.

I would like to use ligths and final gathering, Gi is unnecessary. My scene is one object 10k tris (with normal map) and small ground, thats all.

Filtering, sampling, fg settings etc probably aren't what you're looking for. Making it just 'look good' is mostly lighting.
