Hi I started this piece about a month ago and my laptop died so I had to wait for a new pc to finish it. It's based off a sword from Final Fantasy IX and also has some Prince Of Persia in there too. Anyway feedback appreciated....go :P

if this is for a portfolio, show wireframe, texture layout, tri count...whats the purpose of the prop? in game model?

The details on the blade in the texture render looks flat. It could be just the lighting but maybe you could make it pop out more.

i like the cloth work, but the crossgaurd definitely seems a bit plain to me, good start though

It looks VERY simple. Are you sure you cannot push the polycount a little further? Just my spontaneous thought...
