my first idea was to make a kind of interior that is being flooded, with an exit door at one end, then I thought I'd rather make a flooded mine containing an alien relic (http://orbart.free.fr/Gallery/Images/.jpg). In the end I changed my mind and decided to do something more fun : a destryoed subway station, with some kind of Final Evil Boss Monster entrance on one side.

i changed my subway for something a bit bigger, here is a very quick blockout of the scene.

I also started making the subway floor (tested with PC colors) learning ut at the same time ~

thx for the comments, i changed a bit the floor 'ill add the "pc touch" with fun publicity

Looks like a great entry! Simple very effective texturing. I think the where the wall meets the ground where the tracks are need some trim. Also a walkway or some cables in the train part could be cool. ROCK THIS U.C.!

working on the subway pillars, il still need to do one more (the most damaged), and thx to eat 3d for the nice rebarb technique, thoose dvds are also awsome to learn ut !

wow that's a whole lot of awesomeness in here

what i miss on the new pillar there is that everything is clean except for the huge crack/hole. the floor has that tiny detail that brings it out.
but i highly doubt this is final sculpt, so...minor nitpicking ^^

I guess that's just how my workflow is, i usually make a quick global sculpt, and finish the minor details using the texture, merging the detail normal map( with crazybump most of the time) with the global baked normal map.
