Hey team, here's my latest concept, antman guy, looking for any crits on anatomy, ideas, cool things to add, improve, before i make a shitty texture for him.

its an interesting silhouette but the major forms are all suggested rather than fully sculpted for example, does he have elbows? do his arms bend if so where is the muscle and the folds at the bend point? is he partly in a shell/exoskeleton like a crab, if he is where are the edges and joins to the skin ? Id also say youve gone in with the detail to soon like the noisy stuff on the arms and head when the model doesnt really look finished yet

thanks, that is helpful, i need to figure out what hes made out of, muscle or exoskeleton, probably both, and have more defined edges between areas like i did on the segmented legs

When i look at this i don't see antman.

I see a kinda scorpion/crab/bodybuilder thing going on.

I was expecting something more like this guy:

think he needs little spines and spikes? Dont want to go overboard though

good idea, keep it subtle though just put spines an spikes where they are needed not all over. Also good reference, find more ref for other parts eg the chest muscles/parts and whats going on with his face? are there any eyes?
