This is a software that tracks all your computer usage and then makes stats about it.

THis way you can see how many time you spend modeling and how much you spend browsing.

I used this for a while at work just because I was curious how much time I spent actually working. The results were much higher than I had thought.

Are you guys crazy? You don't want your project management directors to get wind of this and making new rules with HR... I can already see bathroom breaks being limited. 5 minutes.

man. amazing that i spent almost 13.5 hours on the pc.
damn..

today i was active on the pc for like 11ish hours.

I used to use Rescue Time, which is similar to this except it doesn't log every individual site / app, and kinda generalizes sites / apps by function. Not as accurate, but still pretty indicative.

the programs only count time if you have them active and using them.
so you can have firefox open, but if its minimized it doesnt count the time.

I don't know about Manic Time, but Rescue Time only logs activity from the active window at the time, so streaming internet radio while you work in your 2D or 3D application of choice won't log that time spent as browsing.

this software looks more like a curiosity thing than really a usefull tool.

K. This is definitely useful.
Good news: I spend a lot less time on social networking sites than I feared.
Bad news: I spend as much time on the IM as I feared.
Good News: I'm getting a lot faster at sending out job app emails.
? News: I'm still easily distracted by attractive women, and no not porn in this case.

I installed it for a day and then spent 10 mins analysing how I spent my time on that day. I then realized that I could of wasted those 10 mins doing something else instead, hence saving me 10 mins. So then I uninstalled it!
