HOW CAN I FIX THIS DECAL SHADING ARTIFACT (UNREAL ENGINE)

Hi, am using unreal engine and while working on the button labes, i noticed that the white text decals that fall into deep shadow or are lit only by ambient light (Left-Side) appear to glow or have a fuzzy, bright edge/fill, even though the material does not have an Emissive input connected.
The decals that are directly under light (right-side) are working properly




The material setup is simple, have used a base color channel and opacity channel to get these labels on a plane

    Translucent materials light differently depending on the model you use.  The choices are listed in the material properties. 

    You probably want to use dbuffer decals for this purpose though rather than a translucent material
