Job Description:
We're seeking a fantasy concept artist to bring our original ideas to life as visual references for 3D sculpting. This is for a line of high-detail miniatures used in tabletop games, rooted in Viking, grimdark, horror, and dieselpunk themes.
You’ll work closely with the creative lead (me) and our 3D sculptor to interpret creative briefs into clean, readable concepts. Any medium is acceptable—pencil sketches, ink, or digital. We prioritize clear silhouettes, costume design, and character attitude over polish.
Responsibilities:

Translate written ideas and rough prompts into full-body concept art

Iterate quickly and accept feedback

Provide orthographic or rough back/side views when needed (basic block-ins okay)

Collaborate via email, chat, or calls as needed

Work within agreed deadlines
What We’re Looking For:

Strong visual storytelling and character design ability

Experience with fantasy or stylized themes

Comfort working from loose ideas and refining them visually

Bonus: Knowledge of miniatures, 3D modeling, or tabletop games
Compensation Options:

Flat rate per concept: $150–$400 depending on complexity

OR: Reduced rate + Royalty Share from STL/digital miniature sales
