New project, the Professor. Got no concept for this one, but my goal is to create a "Mad Professer"-character with some hard-surface stuff to broaden my skillset. Please post feedback if you got any, I'm here to learn :>

This is my progress so far:

Obviously still alot to do. Next up is to keep working on some of the hard-surface stuff and do a blockout of the shoe for his right foot.

    Update:

Added some details to the jacket. Also decided against having two hands in favor of a giant syringe-arm-extension, because why not? Also simplified the mech-foot to not have as much repeating clutter. Gave all of the metal plates a hard edge since the face, hair and folds a very angular. The thing on his shoulder is supposed to be in leather, with some sciency tools attached to it for easy access. Finally, I did a rough blockout of the boot!

Next step is to keep finalizing shapes, model the tools for his shoulder-thingy and cut open the mouth and att some teeth/tounge so that I get get in some good facial expressions later when It is time to pose it! I've set the deadline for the high-poly to this sunday, the last of september. Hopefully I can get it done quicker, but I'm working/have social things going on aswell. Then I'll have three days to retop/UV/bake(probably a bit generous, but I prefer to add time for unforseen events) and then I'll try to have the textures finished and the pose done on Monday the 8th.

    Stay tuned for more!

Update: Probably calling this done now. Might do some minor tweaks tomorrow before I start retopogolizing. Fixed some of the folds, redid most of the face to gice a cleaner look and added the syringes! Will just UV one and duplicate it. Bot the small syringes and the syringe-arm will have transparent parts with refration and then some fluid inside!

    Next up, retopo and UVs!

Update! Did some more texturing and rigged it with Advanced Skeleton to get a pose. Changed the face in ZBrush and started to play around with some lights!

Next up, more texturing and I'd like to have two poses, this one and a maniacal laughter pose!

Looks great! I love the style of the character a lot. I think the head texturing might benefit some darker/hair shading where the hair geo is set on the head. Just a little so that it still feels stylized. Keep it up!

Update: Tried to fix the hair-thing that Piffles pointed out, added some gradients and did some color-correcting. Also did the laughing maniacally-pose!
Next up is adding some fake-fluid to the big syringe and syringe-tank, probably some tweaking on the textures and creating the flow map for the hair!

I like the idea, but I feel like the front toe circle should be planted on the ground. Seems wobbly as is.
