Hi Polycount, So after spending countless hours working on this project, I have finally finished up my 45 Stylized Rock Asset Pack! This pack comes with 45 meshes of various rock formations and singular rocks. The rock types range from simple scatter stones, to slanted rocks to massive formations. Every single rock was textured by hand and I tried to push the textures to the highest level I could, which hopefully shows. It also comes with 4 LODs and curvature textures, so you can easily customize the rocks as needed. Blending the provided curvature maps with my original textures, can give very interesting results and match any environment style easily. Hope you like it!
Another little texture test. I am contemplating on doing a very stylized and cartoony textures, pretty much flat colour with some variation, and another ones would be a bit more in the middle between stylized and realistic (something that you can see right now). This way this asset pack would fit more people needs. Also the moss is just a little placeholder, not sure if I'll be keeping the moss, so people can actually put the textures in desert as much in a forest, if needs be, they can themselves paint the moss either in UE4 or substance designer.
Thought I'd share a little update, as these are taking me longer than I expected. Decided to change the art style slightly so the rocks would fit in more environments, here are a few previews (showing 16 rocks out of 45). Not finished yet, still working on the textures. Everything is sculpted by hand!
All the textures and meshes are done now! Do you guys think I should sell these rocks (I got 45 now) as two separate packs, so more people could afford them? For example people would buy part 1 if they think they only need those rocks in that pack. Another idea I had was to make a mini pack with the most basic rocks, and then a larger pack with the full set. Or I might end up just doing one pack to not to confuse anyone
Here's a little turn-around of one of the 45 rocks. I am actually very happy with the result! Will probably do some more of the turnarounds to showcase the other assets. Let me know what you think!
I wasn't happy how some of the rocks were looking (especially the ones that I textured first) so I decided to re-do the textures, delaying the release a bit. I think they look way nicer now, and not as noisy/cluttered. More stylized look that I was going for. Let me know your thoughts though!
Re-did the textures one last time, and went something more in between the really stylized and semi-realistic. Here is the final sheet of all of the rocks. Also went ahead and baked all of the curvature maps that will be in the pack! Fingers crossed I'll have this published in the next couple of days.

Decided to also put this up on UE4 Marketplace, so I am doing a little scene setup using my rocks to showcase them This is not final, but blocking it out
