[UE4 & Maya] Proper Joint Rigs Recommendation for Weapons/Vehicles that got tracks or chains

I have a chainsaw model that got the body with the handle and blade. The blade got it's own duplicated series of blades that go around the chain using motion path, snapshot, IK spline handle offset. I got the chain blade working but I need a body joint rig to allow it to work inside of Unreal Engine 4 both 3rd person and first person. I got a chainsaw clipart off of google images and drew joints and shown in this post is what I got but I don't know how to connect the body joints to the chain joints without causing issues? What's a simple way I can make this animation ready for UE4?

How can I rig this for Unity/UE4? Can I use blend shapes for the chain instead of an IK handle & joints?
