Characters I've been working on for development project 1 for my MA course 'Memories and Nostalgia'
For Memories and nostagia we were allowed to do a homage to our favorite game, fan art as it were. I decided to do some of the characters from my favorite game Spyro the Dragon, I had the idea to sculpt the characters to how I saw them, since I mistook the wizards as big grumpy bird wizards.

My next character for development 1, I can't remember if I said already but I've picked memories and nostalgia to work on further as development one project, anyway this time it's a strange flying lizard monster from the third spyro game, I liked the idea of a character that's just all mouth

Semester c is here and I've begun working on my characters for my project, it's going to be a street party scene full of various stylized characters, since I'm on my own I'm just focusing on those to refine my brush skills some more. These are some of the concepts I did before starting the sculpts.

This is the Wolpertinger highpoly I’ve been working on alongside my other characters, been experimenting with wavy fur for this one on the rabbit body, the wings I plan to finish quicker with an insert mesh brush created from one feather mesh. The main focus with this character is that from the body sculpt I can create different rabbit characters to help fill the scene as background characters, using different fur textures to differentiate them, reusing parts of the existing sculpt will help cut down time in developing similar characters, the wolpertinger being the main one of the group with small deer antlers and mallard wings, I found it would be an interesting mythological animal to bring to my mix of anthropomorphic animal characters that wouldn’t be too out of place

Been reworking the head to my basilisk as I wasn't happy with it's form in pre production, I used the eyelash viper as reference for some of the features

I've not updated this thread in a long time so I'm finally coming back to it, here's the finished project I did for uni, it's not my strongest work now but I plan to update this thread with my latest work

Also had this personal piece on the side, fan art of Gaul the Ape King, I really want to get into hard surface sculpting on characters such as armour, Looking forward to the fur and learning to do hardsurface in Zbrush, it's been at the block out phase for too long, crit welcome

Finished Girl01, took a break from her as I was moving country and had my desktop packed away all through isolation and flat hunting
But she's finished now and I'm immensely proud of how she turned out
