Hi everyone
Decided to make a sketchbook here
You can find more of my stuff on
Artstation and
my websiteHere's some of my recent work:
https://www.artstation.com/artwork/PNL33 Characters I've been working on for development project 1 for my MA course 'Memories and Nostalgia'
For Memories and nostagia we were allowed to do a homage to our favorite game, fan art as it were. I decided to do some of the characters from my favorite game Spyro the Dragon, I had the idea to sculpt the characters to how I saw them, since I mistook the wizards as big grumpy bird wizards.Still woring on this, I'll be posting more soon, still not got the hang of posting on polycount

and the (almost) final highpoly sculpt
My main blog for MA https://charllaycock.wordpress.com/2017/04/23/character-concepts-for-preproduction/
This is the Wolpertinger highpoly I’ve been working on alongside my other characters, been experimenting with wavy fur for this one on the rabbit body, the wings I plan to finish quicker with an insert mesh brush created from one feather mesh. The main focus with this character is that from the body sculpt I can create different rabbit characters to help fill the scene as background characters, using different fur textures to differentiate them, reusing parts of the existing sculpt will help cut down time in developing similar characters, the wolpertinger being the main one of the group with small deer antlers and mallard wings, I found it would be an interesting mythological animal to bring to my mix of anthropomorphic animal characters that wouldn’t be too out of place

I've gotten the highpoly of Girl01 where I want it and just working on the weapons now
But she's finished now and I'm immensely proud of how she turned out
Sneaky greentooth too

I never asked if Girl01 was her name or the filename
Moving onto retopo now
For me I would like to see a hint more anatomy on the dragons legs.
