Hi all,

I really need some help to close a gap on my model, i tried a few things myself, but it makes my model look worse than it already does;P

I tried selecting the edgeloop and extrude the edges a few times, and then merge the vertices in the middle, so it looks like the top of a cylinder.

I also tried to extrude a few of the edges out, and then merge here and there.

But non of it ends up looking good* = *Good edgeflow, no strange vertis bumps, even/smooth surface.

So I would really apreciate any help and refference on how to close such a gap.

ah you meant the leg hole, lol i didn't understand that based on the initial post.  I'd start by extruding that loop and working your way down.

but what I would have really done is block the entire figure first.  Start with as little loops as possible, and work your way up.  This way you avoid the issue you are having now.

Alternatively you can build the leg as a separate object and work your way up, once you are done with the leg you can try to match the geo

    I am such a fool....:-/

I forgot to add, that he is not going ot have any legs.

He is a floating giant ghoul without legs.  Perhaps that helps to tell me a good way to close the hole, in a way that looks good too
