Please help me set up a new Wordpress portfolio website

Hi,
  I would like to set-up a new Wordpress website, can you guys share some information please. I already have a google blogger website that is linked to my domain name, but after seeing WrenPortfolioTheme(http://polycount.com/discussion/161083/wren-minimalist-and-free-portfolio-theme-for-wordpress ) i want to go Wordpress.

Well i googled the process , but now i am having a issue, Wren theme is showing fine in wordpress customise theme. But when i check the website in a browser, it's all messed up(please check the screenshots). Can anyone figure out what i am doing wrong.
