"The Batterer" - laser pistol

Hi! I enjoy to see the submitted work of others on this forum, so I decided to post what I'm working on lately. It is a personal project mostly for practicing. I'm building it from scratch and the HP is almost done. Maybe I will do a weathering pass in Zbrush along with putting some smaller details like engravings.
I'll update the post as I advance forwards.

Hi! I'm looking at the bottom shot and the front of the gun seems a bit cramped and busy to me. The two tesla ball things on the side seem very close to the triangular coil. Some space between them (like you've got with the vertical ones) might relieve some tension there.

Thanks Mykuljaxin. I adjusted that part a bit.

I did not have much time for the gun lately, but I finally got to work on it after a long time and made some textures.

Yeah! that looks really nice tbh I don't know what could you improve, maybe a VFX of the actual gun shooting a laser? that would be cool, but also hard to achieve... maybe? Having the light of a laser or plasma bleeding the metalness of the weapon with purple and red highlights would be awesome!

The model looks nice. I think you should push the presentation further though. Right now the colors looks quite washed out, and the lighting could be more interesting. Just a standard three point lighting setup would go a long way.

Thanks guys. N4UJ, I can't script, animate or VFX, so it is probaby going to stay a static prop.

Yep! I have to work on the presentation, it is now a simple set-up, but I'm going to improve it on the final shots.

I have not posted here in ages. Few months ago I decided to move on to other projects and and call done the pistol even if I didn't add all I wanted. I give you some additionel view angles on the final model. Let's call it "The Batterer".
