THanks guys. @Cyph3r what would you recommend with the rendering?. i will try to find some other ways to render/show the model @Poly knight. going to add some more refs later today.
Use a Box with same size for all sides for example 50x50x50, Turbosmooth it with 2 Iterations and add a Spherify Modifier on that box.
Colapse it and convert it back to an edit. poly.
Does anyone got any blueprints/pictures of a Ford model A 1928 engine laying around? i'am having trouble figuring out how it should be modelled and it would help alot with some blueprints.
Thanks @amirabd2130 Btw. how would you recommend i should make the front grill on the car i was thinking making a flat plane with a Transparency Map over it? would that be any good to my model?
Hi @Great_OZ , your model is looking very good so far. About the front grid, there are two main ways of doing that: One of them is just the one you mentioned. That is faster and easier, and it looks ok from some distance. But if you render it from too close, you give away the trick. The other way is to create a module and instantiate it in such a way that you get the whole grid as a true 3D model. This is going to be much more complicated to do and heavier for your hardware but will hold up a closeup render. Unfortunately, I'm a Maya user so I don't know how you do that in Max. However, I would suggest you to do the easier way first anyway.
