Hey guys and gals, I'm still here and still working on the project. For the last 3 months I did a lot of content for it and started to work on my instagram account, trying to get some attention to the project and make some buzz around itCheck it out!
I am not sure in what format to post here tbh, some detailed blogging with deep thoughts and problems solving in UE5(or I can make big video post-mortem of the prject) or maybe short messages like that and images/gifs stream? Overall, I am quite curious in what state our industry now and where to show stuff to people, cuz arstation currently looks pretty dire, and this project is not like 'artstation portfolio content' Also posting GIF's gives me 2000's vibe here hehe.
For example, here is the latest addition to the project: Advanced Dwarf Spider Droid. Made from original concept from the game. Cheers!

Zelda but not how you might expect her to look
Ive been chipping away on this chonky Zelda character! Currently finishing up the blockout stage and I'll use this thread to keep posting little updates as I go.

Wizzard's Backpack game-ready model
Hi guys, I finished this game-ready backpack as part of a larger project (wizard/traveler character) that I am working on and want to share it with you. 1x4k texture set for the whole backpack and accessories + 1x 512 set for moths. Software which I used:
Marmoset Toolbag 4 - bakes, textures and presentation
Zbrush - sculpting, adding details
RizomUV - UV mapping
Topogun 3 - retopology
Marvelous Designer - base backpack
3ds max - some part of modeling like ropes etc, animation of moths

that method isn't mathematically correct btw, you need to actually transform the perturbing normal into the coordinate space of each pixel/base normal. then do the addition.
drag and drop normal map merger which uses the "correct" maths
not full tested yet but I sure someone will break it 😉

nothing fancy. just couple of lapel pins. was for a wedding but it was canceled last minute due to hurricane Dorian. Silver one works as cuff link too. Bronze pin takes standard clutch back.
