@FAT_CAP Vlad is right. All you need is one image named loadingscreen.png nothing more. Most likely it should be 16:9 and the importer will preview it for you in 16:10 and 4:3 ratios.
Woohoo! Check this out :) http://ca.ign.com/articles/2013/04/16/how-to-make-a-living-selling-virtual-hats Good stuff Anuxi! Yeah, maybe best to have a little chat with him.
I was going to work on a set for Weaver or a beard for Tusk, but now I gotta drop everything for Ember Spirit! Finished up this Meepo set over the last 16 hours. Click to view the collection on the workshop.
ok after the voting upside vs downside ended like 16:15 we decided to upload both :) downsided: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=200794936 upsided: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=200812084 thx @Andumy and everyone elise here :)
Does anyone in the beta have extra invites? I'd really like to try my hand at this, I got started with making "skins" for Quake about 16 years ago but kinda stopped modding around Quake 2. Maybe I could share some advice.
@FAT_CAP your image also loaded right away in my client. No resave/rename no nothing. It will probably load without any problems on your home PC. One thing that I highly recommend one more time is to make it 16:9 because now proportions were off.
Has anybody successfully imported a Loading Screen to the Workshop? I've saved an image as a 2048x1024 .PNG (tried both 8 and 16-bit versions, compressed and uncompressed) and am getting the error: ERROR Failed to check out resource\flash\images\workshop\loadingscreen_preview.png in P4 Is this a bug or just me being daft?
Cool helm Mihal! :D Vlad, dude 116 tests? I would have said FUCK IT at 16. Did you extract the underlying mesh to create your shirt low? Copy the weights from the body to the shirt? I'm guessing you must have and still had clipping problems T__T
