These two have been getting some much deserved press with this book. They've been defining the Ratchet & Clank games for a decade. They need to do more work with Marvel. I loved the Spider-cat comic they did a bit ago.
hey thanks Diwan. Yea I started to love to painting environments but I never get tired of painting robots.:) Here is a link to my recorded spider tank paint. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jKwZl_1WP40[/ame]
Off to a very interesting start! Underground with pits off to the side with roots. Just be careful on fleshing out your theme if you're going to be using such noisy texture reference like those spider-web like roots if it's in "playable area".
I know that the studios that develop spider man games and movies spend a lot of time translating the comic book signature poses to 3D. If you get some of those poses in there you'd have something pretty solid! Good work
@Tobbo : Thanks you men ^^ there a update of the shape. I will rework the wall and the block of book after I made the textures and I will add somes spider's web. Tell me what do you think about the "final shape".
Hi guys! I'm a character artist working full time at Beenox, a studio located in Quebec city, Canada. In the past years I have mostly worked on Spider-Man games. This is a personal project I have worked on in my free time. I hope that you like it.
Question... I've always wondered how do I gather and clip together reference for stuff that only super heroes can do? For instance, if I wanted to do a Spider-Man web swing, where would I gather reference for that?
Thanks guys :D Decided to push this a little further and have the spiders coming out of her face. Played around with the crown a bit.... I suffer from pretty intense arachnophobia...so this is pretty much a nightmare to work on. more soon.
