Well here are two more block outs for the character, there are minor changes between them.
I have one more idea in mind and after that comes the hardest part :P
I think the final design is my favorite. So many to good ones to choose from though. I think having the foot wrap design from the original concepts would be more fitting though as she floats through the air and heels might not look right. Great start though, following for sure.

I agree with slosh the versions you have her eyes are just more powerful. Though the design is developing nicely. I'm also diggin' the silhouette of the bottom right helmet.

I think that I'm going for the middle design, but taking in consideration your suggestions and leave the eyes visible.
There will be shoulder pads, but I think of going with something simpler than the original design.

just in case you do not know: riot stated that we should not use predone work, that seems to sadly also count for human basemeshes. At least that's what it sounds like
For the character art, are we allowed to use a base mesh as a starting point for the high rez sculpt (like in the Heimerdinger rework video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S2ocU2i8yY)?
No. We want to see you create everything from scratch. This is where the WIP threads come in.
I guess I do not make me any friends if I post this in every thread I find models that are clearly not showing the WIP of the human mesh but I don't want people to submit such great work and then they are not even considered as a winner because they missed that part! (I don't think that I can win anyways with you guys around XD)
Considering the speed at which all these concepts were made I thinks it's possible that it was made from scratch but tudor didn't find the need to post a WIP of that stage. I know many character artist have probably made enough characters that creating the basemesh from scratch is a quick process and considering Syndra is covered in armor would not have require as much detailing as others. This last shot is looking great though. I know there's plenty of setailing left but I can't wait to see some colors on it. Keep it up!

Regarding the body mesh it's kinda horrible in the concept faze, all I was looking for was the general proportions, the silhouette and the rough forms for me to work with. Once that I decided which whey to go I added some more anatomy on the body and the form so that it will read beater.

Here is an update on the final high-poly version and the low-poly mesh.
I decided not to use alphas at all. everything is going to be full opacity.
The total number of tris is 8.398, although I thing that number is going to be higher when I will add the feathers.
Will update soon on the color scheme.
