Here is a quote: "Beauty shot of the high poly sculpt (high resolution) at angles that will best show the quality of your asset (Optional if you created a high poly sculpt)" Also there was a question about it in FAQ. It's ok to just do a low poly and paint it. For me it's quite strange to do a high poly only for baking AO.

It kinda doesn't matter how messy work is while you doing it, the result is more important. Yours looks very cool when you are done Also that my habit of working extra clean is a big disadvantage in my 2d stuff. Too clean looks kinda kills life in it. But in 3d it works

Here is an update. Done with character for now, will tune it up a bit after texturing a gun and some test on map screenshots.
Face texture job is amazing, you might be able to push a bit more geo into the silhouette to help make some of the straps pop of the body. Ether way nice work so far looking forward to see more
Wow, great job, good idea sharing the 3d version. My only crit would be maybe the gun could use a bit more top down AO, so its a bit more readable against her? Also, a different shade of blue or different colour for her hair would make it really pop against the purple dress. I seriously love the boots though..!
future-fiction thank you for your crit! Didn't think about changing hair color before that, but now - thanks for idea! At the moment there are some big problems with readability of a model and it parts. It will be fun to fix all that

There was a quick face sculpt in order to start more comfortable but all the rest done in Maya.

WillPower Thank you for your suggestion. I did that, but maybe will exaggerate them bit more.
Here is a textured gun and some pose test. Still a wip, need to work on textures, make some color and tonal adjustments.
