Hey, finally almost all my character i did for Killzone Shadow Fall got some nice hires pictures done by Guerrilla. I thought to create now a art dump thread and not wait until i can show the highpoly model renders. So this is the first part, second will follow very soon i hope.
For most of the stuff i create only the highpoly, for 3 characters i create also the lowpoly and textures. Hope you all like it!!
More of this kind ingame render will follow as soon i got a ok from Guerrilla.
Just a side info, i am available for freelance work, so if you like my stuff feel free to contact me.
Thank you all for the nice words. It was amazing to work on this Project, so i have to say big thanks to the guy's at Guerrilla.
Sadly i can not show any progress stuff like wires or texture sheets, only Marketing material and i hope after the game is out some nice highpoly renders done by me.
Almost forgot one character. I also create the main dude, it was my first character for the game. Got more screens of him and you will love it.. this later!
Looking really nice and the detail is amazing. Love the color highlights aswell
Looking at those, I cant help but notice that the initial helghast style is pretty much gone.
If you compare those here with the killzone 1 ones,
its like 100 years of technology happened.
The old ones were clearly influenced by world war 1 europe, and
WW2 germans with their super overpowered tech. They were essentially space nazis, the armor, the colors, the meanings behind. The new style looks amazing, but it looks like a 180 turn
will the game be running at 1080p and or releasing for pc? Lots of detail there itd be a shame if it was lost from upscaling. Hope the next gen does it justice!
wow thank you all for the kind words.
Once again i have to say sorry, i can't talk about any details like textures size, polycount, shader and so on. Also i won't post any wires or ao screens.. I will show later with part 2 just some hires highpoly renders, so you can see more of the work i did for this game, many details are not visible on the screens.. like the back or legs for example.
Shrike: I think the old Killzone looks great, but it was about time to get it more serious and adult, that is what it become in my opinion.
Gheromo: i use it only one time. :P
Fomori: Most only 3D part but i did my best so it wasn't just a 3d model done from a concept.
chrisradsby: hope it will help me to get some task from your company.
Scythe: haha yeah looks like. :P
littleclaude: don't think i will ever get a ok to talk about all this.
Have also to say, the face of Echo character was done by some other Guerrilla guys, thats why no closeups of her.
More ingame material will follow as soon as possible.
thats scary realistic, way to go. would love to see a vide of you working in zbrush and how you texture your work, I know you cant show what you have posted but maybe if you get time and want to show how you work that would be great.

Would really love to see some wires. There seems to be a lot of texture-res and dense polymeshes in these shots.

What texture resolutions were used for 1 character?
Will be staring at these for a while!
Anyway nice work man! =]
Did you design/concept all of these as well or just the 3D?
Either way very good 3D arts!
Best,
Thomas
Lovin' what you've done man, those hard surfaces sure are glorious
One day when and if you can I would love to hear about the creation time, polycounts, shaders used and so on
On your bike, shes to hot for you old man!
