So I'm inspired by the new game from Bungie called Destiny. I really dig the concepts and art coming out for it so I decided to sculpt one of the hunter class concepts. This will be my WIP thread for it so any critique as I go is welcome. Sci-Fi type stuff is newer to me but I recently learned a great technique on how to hard surface model in Zbrush so I'll be working that out as I go.
Latest Progress:
Here is the concept and where I'm at atm. Still building pieces and roughly blocking things in.

You're inspiring me to make some 3D models of Destiny now too!
This one is a shoulder holster, which attaches around the back, but you could still use it for reference:
I have a feeling this may be a heavy texture job in terms of where most of the challenges lie?
One thing that jumps out at me is the belts, especially around the torso, seem to not have tension.
So my suggestion is to tighten up the straps on the arms a bit as they look to be cloth and should be tighter, deforming the clothing below. For the torso, the thick leather straps don't look to be holding weight. They are also not sagging, so it looks as if they are solid rather than flexible.
Definitely looking forward to seeing the final. Props on doing a destiny piece btw
