Hello everyone! I'm starting my new personal project, I want to redo my previous work, it was just TDK bust rendered in Maya, but this time I want to create full realtime game character, rig and animate it. I'm gonna resculpt and redo most of the stuff, also recently I've swtiched to Toolbag 3, I'm exploring it rn, so as soon as I get anything to it I'll post right away. https://www.artstation.com/artwork/5PQRz Here's some shots from my old work:
I finally got time to start working on this project. I blocked out the batsuit, looks wonky but that will do for now ,next step is refining, on the likeness sculpting I've spent around 2 or 3 hours and didn't break symmetry yet. WIP
I think you've exaggerated the muscles around his mouth a bit too much, so much so in fact that in one of the images it looks like you need to flip your normals, but it's a high poly model lol.
and in this image:
It looks like you've morphed his skull around the mask, and not the other way round. The skin around his lips looking really bobbly with no real explanation for it, his lips aren't even puckered that much.

Thank you for your comment! This image was posted almost 2 month ago, it was an early wip, here, take a look at the final one. I'm still putting the finishing touches to the bust, so it's not actually finished yet. Actually, Mr. Bale does have fairly prominent muscles around his mouth area, also he has a very asymmetric mandible bone. Hope this image helps to explain what I mean.
Yeah i guess the point i'm trying to make is that you've sculpted him as if he's pursing his lips, but his lips are in a neutral expression. you can clearly see in both the top center, and top center right references that his orbicularis orbis doesn't protrude as heavily as you've made it/ in face from the nasolabial fold down to the edge of the lip it's almost a planar form. It just looks weird. On the far right reference you can see it most clearly, the protrusion of the muscle should end far closer to the corner of the lips, it's a concave form by the time it reaches the nose, not convex.

I'll try to fix those issues. Thank you for the help!

Looking fairly precise. Might want to check the "feel" of the proportions agaiinst his idle poses in some film stills.
Cool
Looking forward to ur project....
lol
Thanks! I'll check them out.
