Transparent Background with ART renderer in 3ds Max

Hi,

I'm working on a project that would require a transparent background behind my main element, as it will be animated over several hundred of frames and placed on a different background later on. Manually cutting each frame in Photoshop doesn't seem very appealing to me! Is there any way of achieving this? I'm using 2017 version of Max with ART renderer - all materials, lights and textures set up to use that particular renderer which can't be changed this late on in the project unfortunately.

Any suggestions welcome!

Thanks,
Lily
