What would be the best learning places to subscribe to for tutorials/training for 3d modeling and environment design?
I tried the free trial for Gnomon but it didn't feel like it had a lot of learning material to go off from.
I'm also looking for quality tutorials with good work flow, and explanations as to why something is being done instead of simply being told to do something and not learn the reason why.
I figured there might be a few posts like this already, I've searched, the only one I've found was back in 2014, I'm curious about how things are now, currently.

Also, to avoid the above aforementioned "tutorial syndrome" I would recommend doing your own project between tutorials to apply what you learn as you go.
do work, post, get critiques, apply critiques and work some more until you get really good.
