Vertex color invisible with mirrored UVs (3DSMax)

Is there a way to get both mirrored (in Materials Bitmap Coordinates) UVs and vertex color to show up at the same time? Any time I turn on mirror the vertex colors become invisible, but reappear if it's disabled. I'm running Max2012 SP2.

Edit: Figured it out; If you turn on "texture display" in an applied VertexPaint modifiers pop up window, and then collapse it, you'll be able to toggle on/off mirror without any problems. Just an fyi to anyone else who runs into this issue.
