anyone know where to get any scan data?

Hi polycount.

Im looking for some scan data on faces or bodies. Im trying to improve my sculpting and it would really help out if there was a place where I could download scan data as references and just look at it. Does anyone know of a place where there are any scans available?

I did a quick search on the forum and on the web but I couldnt find any place that had good scans. The only thing I found were some universities that did some research with 3d scans and basic objects.

There are some pretty rough example files if you do a thorough search for 3d scanning devices and services, but the real quality stuff that movie VFX studios use isn't really available anywhere, not even for demo purposes.

They use to give out some free head scans when you signed up awhile ago but I don't see anything on the front page about it anymore.

infinite Realities had some free scan data too but I don't know what happened to the website that had it.

somebody recently linked a place that had some full body and assorted scans as freebies, I thought it was triplegangers as well but I'll see if I can find it
