So I feel like a big thanks to this community is in order. Being only months away from graduating, I am not the least bit stressed about my portfolio, entering the work world or anything else, and this is 100% due to Polycount and its community. Without saying too much, I can say I have just recently landed some freelance work and am extremely excited. The only reason I got this work is because of my portfolio and exposure, both of which were created by Polycount. I'd like to thank all the awesome people (which are far too many to name) who are the reasons this forum is so awesome.

Ok so now that you all think I'm a cheesy bitch, I think it would be interesting to hear where everyone started their career, be it a first job or first freelance project.
