LOCATION: Robot Entertainment, Inc. office located in Plano, Texas, USA
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Robot Entertainment is looking for an experienced and creative User Interface Designer/Artist to join our art staff. The positions responsibilities include U.I. design, implementation and support for our entertainment products across a variety of platforms. This is an excellent opportunity for a UI Designer with game industry experience looking for new challenges.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
The ideal candidate
BS/BA/MS degree in Computer Arts or related field, or equivalent work experience.
This is a full-time, professional exempt position. Open to United States citizens or those individuals who are legally residing and working in the USA. Robot will not facilitate or sponsor candidates for US work visas or US residency Green Cards for this position.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
- Extensive experience as a User Interface Designer and using Adobe Flash, Adobe Photoshop and associated tools;
- A minimum of two (2) years games industry experience in the above.
The ideal candidate
- Has great passion and creativity for interface design, with strong art skills regarding iconography and 2D graphics, and a good understanding of interface functionality
- Has extensive knowledge of motion graphics, including use of the Adobe Photoshop, and Adobe Flash. Adobe Illustrator and 3ds Max knowledge is also a plus
- Has experience with Scaleform and implementing interface artwork into the game
- Comfortable with creating animated prototypes demonstrating interaction and functionality
- Has experience with 3rd party game engines such as Vision, Unreal, and Gamebryo
- Plays and enjoys computer and console games
- Possesses good written and oral communication skills
- Takes ownership and is a self-starter
- Experience designing User Interfaces for mobile device titles and creating artwork and functionality for web sites
- Possesses the ability to work as part of a team across multiple disciplines in an interactive setting
