i got a huge wacom intuos 1 tablet for birthday and im trying to make it run for a whole week now and i dont seem to get the clue

there were alot of registry hacks and using older drivers in compatibility mode and the vtablet driver (which worked but hat no pressure sensitivity and would cost 70$) but nothing seemed to satisfy my needs

did one of you guys run into such a situation?

im really pissed right now because a birthday present shouldnt anoy one for weeks...

the R stands for serial connection, right? from what i recall there are no 64bit drivers for the serial tablets being developed by wacom at all. you could always try a serial->USB converter. there's (or was) one mentioned on the wacom site somewhere that is supposed to work - not a cheap model tho.

perhaps ask for a birthday present next time that isn't about ten years old already. ;)

i have 2 usb to rs323 adapters due to work and an onboard serial port so thats not the problem.
i was searching for a driver that could make it work
like the vtab one but that doesnt cost as much as a bamboo
