Just saw this yesterday. Seems like a pretty cool way for hobbyist/indie game developers to make some extra cash, or get a hold of some assets without needing a bunch of artists to make content.
What do you guys think? I may consider throwing up stuff I work on. I just hope its easier to tell what you are buying than turbosquid is.

I think you can only access the store through the editor.
You can access the asset store from Unity itself.
I updated my Unity version to 3.1 this morning. I don't know if it was there in the previous version.
It's under Window -> Asset Store
There is a good chunk of stuff in the store already.
At least, that's my feelings. I often browse such things for the sake of it
And if I had the desire and money to develop something unity related I'd greatly appreciate some sort of preview.
