16 bit Authoring in Zbrush 4.0

Anyone know if ZBrush 4.0 can author 16 bit textures? Primarily diffuse.
I know it can handle 16 bit alphas but no love so far with creating diffuse.

i wouldnt use z for texture painting at all...
to blurry and no layer blend modes...
and subdividing the mesh to multi mio poly to get a even vertex/pixel resolutin is a bit strange to me...
